An OB-GYN is often the only physician for women. It is multi faceted, as it involves Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, Medical and Surgical Care.
After studying female hormones, Dr Fite has concluded that Bioidentical Hormones is the preferred therapy for achieving hormone balance. His emphasis including Vitamin D evaluation and Bioidentical Hormone Therapy, results in increased energy, anti-aging, decreased hot flashes, restful sleep, increased libido, improved immune system and sense of well being.
Dr. Fite was elected Chief of the Obstetric Division at Harris Methodist Hospital of Fort Worth for 2008 and 2009. He is a lifetime member of the Christian Medical and Dental Society, having served on the House of Delegates and the Board of Trustees.
Dr. Fite delivered babies at the Edna Gladney home for the first 13 years of his career. Recently, he has provided medical care at the Presbyterian Nite Shelter, the Convoy of Hope and Hope Fest Missions. He has had the joy of being involved in medical missions in Mexico and Guatemala.
Having grown up with my father and uncle as physicians, I knew medicine was in my blood. After a one year rotating internship, I planned to enter a Psychiatry specialty training program. However my first night as an intern on the Obstetrical service, I delivered thirteen babies, and I was hooked. I have had the privilege of delivering over 7000 babies, observing first hand how our creator, God, brings forth new life. Each one was as exciting as those first thirteen. I have now stopped the obstetrical and gyn surgical portions of my specialty. My practice is office based with an emphasis of evaluating and diagnosing PMS, Pre and Post Metapause.
As I continue to enjoy the long term relationships that I have developed with my patients, I strive to give them up-to-date medical care to maintain good health and enjoy a better quality of life. I have found that using bioidentical hormones is a safer, more effective way of treating hormone imbalances.
I share my findings and educate people through extensive office consultations.
